Elsie Taylor Profile & Artworks

Elsie Taylor is minyma Anangu, an Aboriginal woman from the Central Desert of Australia. She spent many years in Mutitjulu community within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park where her family have always had a strong involvement in looking after their traditional country.

She now lives in Ernabella where she creates ceramics with Ernabella Arts. She is also a wood carver who had the privilege of being taught by one of Maruku’s foremost artists and Ngintaka man, her grandfather, the late Tjilpi Wara.
