Gloria Moneymoon Profile & Artworks

Gloria was born in Areyonga and grew up in Jay Creek her traditional lands around docker river in the south west of the N.T. She is based at Mutitjulu in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and has worked for Maruku Arts, as a tour guide for Anangu Tours and as a client liaison officer for the local job network. Gloria became one of the first local community members to work with Ayers Rock Resort, in their craft works gallery and in early 2007 helped facilitate Maruku’s involvement in their Aritists in Residence Program. ‘’Ngayulu palyaplai Tjukurpa mumu mai putitja, ngayulu pularingu nyara palua.’’ ‘’I paint the creation stories and bush foods I grew up on.’’
