Rachael Lionel Profile & Artworks
Rachel Lionel comes from a family of strong carving traditions with skills passed on through Tjukurpa, the Law and way of life governing her people. She has been particularily inspired by the work and teaching of two of her grandmothers, well known artists Pantjiti Lionel (dec) and Niningka Lewis. Rachel is an award winning painter with Ernabella Arts and works there in ceramics as well as with the Tjanpi Desert Weavers.
